2016 Cal South Recreational All-Star Tournament of Champions

 Cal South is pleased to announce that the 2016 Cal South Recreation All-Star Tournament of Champions will take place on January 30-31, 2016.  Please review the tournament details and general information below:   

Date:                     January 30-31, 2016

Location:             Frances Ryan Park in Escondido, CA.

Age Groups:       Boys and Girls U10, U12 and U14 age groups. 

Event Qualifiers: District Commissioners Cup qualifying competitions from Saturday, December 5 through Sunday January 24, 2016.  Check with your local District Commissioner for more information to qualify.

Player Eligibility: Players that have participated in a recreational league for the 2015-2016 seasonal year are eligible to compete.  Players must be selected as an All-Star and registered to an eligible All-Star Recreational team.

Team Eligibility: 8 team maximum per age group.  1 team per Cal South District (1 to 7), plus 1 wild card per age group/division. Wild cards were selected from a blind drawn and will rotate each year.  District champions will automatically advance to the Tournament of Champions.

Format*:  The tournament format will be round robin (min. 3 games) in two, 4-team Groups. Group Winners in each group advance to a Championship game and Runner Up teams advance to a consolation game.
